Jennifer A. Zemanek grew up in Santa Barbara, CA.  She received a B.A. in Art History from the University of California at Santa Cruz and a Master’s Degree in Art Conservation from the University of Durham in England.

She works as a conservator specializing in the preservation of historic upholstery and textiles. She started SCUTI in 2006 as a result of her interest in handbag design and textile surface design.
