SCUTI HANDBAGS & ACCESSORIES
“Often times it’s the pattern and texture of a fabric that first inspires me.”
Jennifer is drawn to fabric as a medium and with it she creates her beautiful handbags. She believes the fabric sets an idea in motion, be it a vibrant color, a stimulating pattern or a luscious texture. The need to be creative and problem solve provides stimulation and satisfaction for her in the process of taking a handbag from idea to finished product.
To create her handbags, Jennifer records her ideas in a notebook. Slowly she helps them evolve into a comprehensive handbag design. Jennifer’s designs are uniquely embellished with beads and metal hardware. They stand apart from others for their attention to detail and fine craftsmanship.
Down to Earth Magic
by admin on Mar.12, 2009, under Rosalie & Larry Brown
Rosalie Brown finds inspiration right at home on her farm. Spinning thread from wool sheared from sheep who call her pasture home, she takes it through the entire process. Threads together become yarn, yarns are woven into cloth or knitted into sweaters.
She teaches others about the process.
Youth groups appreciate the magic of it all. How a kid can wear what a sheep wore . . . or is it how a kid can wear what a kid once wore?
Bright, Bold & Beautiful

PRIMITIVELY HOOKED
“I love the strong bold color of primitive design. Texture, color and Pattern ~ Bright, Bold and Beautiful inspires me.”
Rita Cutler is know for her strong design and brilliant colors. Rita’s rugs, wall hangings and pillows make a big statement in any room. They are filled with the exuberance of their maker, giving us pause to enjoy fresh color and fun at any moment of the day.

Rita’s technique is called ‘primitive’ by some because of it’s use of wide strips of hand-dyed wool. Far fromprimitive though is her sense of design, sophistication and style.
She chooses her colors, all hand dyed wools, for their natural tones and verigated hues ~ a tie to the natural colors of sky, sea and flowers around her Mathews home in Bavon.
